A love letter to
the Alentejo

Paladarte, meaning ‘the art of the palate’, celebrates the lifestyle, tradition, and emotion of belonging. The restaurant is chef Isabel Quinta’s love letter to the Alentejo, the region of Portugal she grew up in and the place she calls home.

Set in the small hamlet of Aldeia dos Marmelos, with spectacular views across olive groves Paladarte embodies the heart of soul of locally sourced ingredients, grown with love and cooked with love.

Guests are welcome throughout the day to share traditional and contemporary dishes, and an evening menu that celebrates the stories of Portugal’s rich gastronomic heritage through the food, wine and produce at the heart of the Alentejo region.

Bem-vindo à nossa casa; welcome to our home.

Our Menus

Where in the Alentejo the rhythm of the day revolves around mealtimes, Paladarte’s menu follows, evolving from late morning to late evening.

Our menu is underpinned by exceptional local produce and traditional techniques that celebrate our region’s cultural approach to eating and dining together. Dishes are lovingly prepared to create delicious dishes that will make you want to come back for more.
